Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's "Ugly Delicious" Podcast Appearance

I had the pleasure of featuring on the "Ugly Delicious" animated by students from Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's Entrepreneurial Program.  The Grade 7 entrepreneurs took on the United Nations' “Zero Hunger” goal by launching the podcast addressing a major issue in our society: food waste.

The students turned ingredients that usually end up in the compost bin into nutritious and delicious meals. The idea was simple yet impactful: finding worth in what others often ignore and breathing new life into frequently wasted ingredients.

Ugly Delicious is more than just a podcast; it's a catalyst for change. Through this project, the students aim to initiate discussions about food waste and encourage families to make more conscious decisions in the kitchen.

As a student of HEC's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, and dietitian I was thrilled to participate and bring awareness to this issue because it aligns perfectly with my passion for nutrition and raising awareness to sustainable practices.

This initiative not only highlights the importance of reducing food waste but also showcases how innovative thinking can transform overlooked resources into valuable assets.

It's a powerful reminder that girls can do anything, and by leveraging our skills and entrepreneurial knowledge, we can drive meaningful change in our communities.
