Fiber Filled Morning Oatmeal Recipe
It's no secret that oats are an important source of soluble fiber known most commonly as beta-glucan, which is capable of helping reduce and stabilize levels of LDL-C.
This recipe is packed full of different soluble fiber filled ingredients that work together to support healthy cholesterol levels, promote steady blood sugar, and keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups milk (0%-2% Protein Cow milk such as Joyya, Natrel Plus or Soy Milk are great options)
- 1 cup oatmeal (I use steel cut oats)
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey
- Toppings of choice : berries, walnuts, cinnamon or granola
Directions
1. In a medium sized saucepan, add milk and oats and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a summer and cook oats until desired doneness (around 5-10 minutes), stir occasionally.
2. Stir in flax meal, chia seeds, hemp seeds, honey or maple syrup.
3. Add toppings of choice and enjoy !
